Sydney Sweeney defenders atp are just weird white dudes But Sabrina’s female fans are doing mental gymnastics to defend everything she does and prove that acting like a dog/doing Lolita photoshoots is actually super feminist So I might have to vote Sabrina idk

Depiction is not endorsement. Her reference to Lolita was in the context of other photos of tired and abused women and we don’t know the context of her new album cover (but the last track is literally called Goodbye)

You’re proving my point. Her Lolita shoot was NOT in that context. They were focused on the aesthetic. Depiction without criticism/satirization is a tacit endorsement.
