Remo Drive’s 1st album “greatest hits” might be right up your alley. System of a Down’s “Toxicity” strikes a perfect balance between punk and metal for me. no skips on that album. “When the Kite String Pops” and “Paegan Love Songs” by Acid bath are pretty good, a bit heavy tho. Also, anything Melvins. Melvins’ “Houdini” is a good place to start.
