Yeah if they’re already passionate about politics or we’ll educated on the subject that’s one thing. But expecting some random person largely focused on music to become some sociopolitical geopolitical expert and speak on things they know nothing about is pretty wild…

That’s true but in a time where every part of our identities are being turned into politics, it’d be nice to know where grown adults stand on that spectrum before giving our energy to the ones that don’t even see us as human

This is valid but half the people who expect pop stars to speak on this stuff dont have a single video on tiktok or instagram or whatever speaking out on it. You cant hide your face behind a screen all while expecting random people you dont know to speak on controversial topics
