It’s so weird that the Pope isn’t a random religious leader who spawned from a random country and instead A Guy From Chicago. Like, there’s pictures of Leo at White Sox games. He’s blessed and signed Pokemon cards. He apparently LOVES Peeps and someone crocheted a Pope Peep and he literally STOPPED THE POPEMOBILE to have his security go get it from them in the crowd.

Someone told him “you likely have eaten the most hotdogs out of any Pope” and he clarified that he liked them with mustard. I know he was Cardinal before this but he really is Just A Guy when you think about it.
