I lowkey don’t understand this controversy over Manon getting the boot, I haven’t followed katseye like that but I remember seeing a lot of fan made compilations of her constantly messing up her choreo (which is integral to kpop group) and her vocals -

- are mid at best, definitely not comparable to Megan Lara and sophia, and apparently she broke a contract with that short film she did, so net net she paid for it by getting terminated, I think the whole r@ce card in this situation makes zero sense when the group is literally comprised of different nationalities/ethnicities

Like at the end of the day katseye is a product, there was never any artistic integrity to them so what difference does it make if the company thinks that one member doesn’t have what it takes to keep the product quality up there Anyways that’s just my 2 cents, I don’t have anything against manon because I have never really cared for the group like that but since it’s constantly on my TikTok and twitter feed I just felt the need to vent it out
