The fact that he wrote something from the Bible on his uniform itself isn’t the issue, it’s the fact that it was made to protest wearing a pride outfit when those pride outfits were completely optional. The players chose themselves to wear them, and it’s against league rules to write on any uniform at all, but it’s being portrayed as it being because it was a religious thing it’s an issue when writing anything is against league rules

But they’re purposely pushing a narrative that it’s religious persecution and “woke”, forcing this upon them, and leaving out the detail that it was optional and all writing of any kind on uniforms of any kind is against league rules because it’s not convenient for the narrative.
