I’m diagnosed with arfid was hospitalized last year had to go to residential php and IOP! i just returned to college this year so im an expert with this now. I get ensure plus through my doctor since im still considered to be underweight although my bmi improved a lot if a meal or snack doesn’t go well i drink an ensure plus or if you don’t like the taste or texture you can make it into a shake or smoothie! Also eating high cal foods that are low volume help like dairy! Best of luck

They sell ensure and boost at CVS it can be expensive, which is why I recommend talking to your doc or get connected with a arfid dietitian. Also making a list of your safe foods for hard days to have on hand

Also if you can try your best to limit physical activity and using the CATCAB helps i have it for my arfid and asthma since im placed on limited mobility rn.

And setting alarms helps too. I also recommend choosing your class schedule based on your preferred eating times for meals and snacks.

yes! this is a possibility bc it is kind of an aversion thing and textures are important. i also just don’t prioritize eating over many things and forget

thank you! i have lots of 300 and 500 calorie boosts on hand that i use to supplement a lot. maybe i just need to be drink more per day? i’m seeing a young adult specialist monday to talk about anxiety, disordered eating, and other issues so hopefully that’ll lead me to some progress! i’ve thought abt tracking calories to be more cognizant but i have a history of ana so that complicates things
