not scary like fear scary like emotional and depressive (if you mean residential therapy like a psych ward thats what i tbink u mean so thats what im talking on) it makes u super depressed they give u alot of unwanted and unnecessary meds and get mad and make you stay longer if you cry and you get no physical contact with anyone you can only wear certail clothes and even tho it feels like it nobody thinks your crazy in there except the staff most other ppl living there dont judge

just be careful who you talk to, only make one good friend and make good with your bunkie/roommate, dont yell fight or say no to hygine, eat 80% of your food, dont get too close to anyone, dont get too attached to your one good friend because they could leave before you, and remember trying to stay calm makes it worse. just let ur emotions flow everyone cries there first day. if you do any of the things listed above that were said not to do, they make u stay longer.
