I’m mostly recovered from anna but now I am kind of overweight and I want to be healthy but it’s impossible to try to eat healthy or diet without slipping into old habits and self hate, has anyone gone through the same thing and has any advice?

Try getting into active hobbies (not the gym necessarily, they lend to ana overexercise behavior for a lot of people). Things like hiking (the trails are a set length). Disc golf (the course is a set length). Could walk a set amount with friends. Hobby sports. Etc. you can take it slow and just stay active.

I think maybe find a coach or a therapist to do it with who specializes in eating disorders 💚

maybe try to keep healthy foods in your house but don't count your calories? If you work/go to school maybe try to walk there. Join a team sport or ask your friends to workout/hike/like play basketball or something often. Idk it took me a long while after recovering from ana to be able to safely monitor my food and exercise.
