"Know this, my beloved brethren: let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not work the righteousness of God." James 1:19-20 Jesus tells us to be slow to respond so that we process our emotions and words. Reacting impulsively leads to anger and anxiety, which is only contained through our faith in Jesus Christ and his teachings. I know it can be insanely hard to do this and we’re going to fall short, but we are capable of all things through Christ!
