Those types of guys are usually on the DL and wanna get with a guy but are too nervous to do it with a cis man, so they think that trans guys are the happy medium where it can look like they’re doing a dude but they still have a vag (from a trans guy, btw).

Oh yeah 100% from a fellow trans guy. I’ve also unforch encountered a lot of straight men who aren’t actually DL and flirt with trans guys cuz they think we’re woman lite which is. Bold

I’ve had a few cis guys flirt with me and the stop when they realize I’m trans… like if you don’t like me if I’m a boy then why even flirt with me? I don’t pass very much but seriously come on.

I’m a cis guy dating a trans guy and it actually made me sick how people treated him in relationships. “Happy medium” or “best of both worlds” is disgusting because it means they don’t see you as fully guys. A ton of my friends are trans, even before dating him, and I’ve always cared about trans people, so to hear how prevalent chasers are is really sad.

I think that chasers are just predatory and I don’t even think they’re dl because they ultimately still see it as a straight relationship no matter what they say at first.
