I’ll be so good at avoided ‘aggressive animals’ so there’ll never be a conflict, and I’ll even let spiders stay inside until the rain stops, but if a wasp comes after me, a hornet…. I tried to play nice, now they meet God.

my mom would try to get me to kill the orb-weavers outside on the porch and I’d just be like “now, why would I do that? he’s outside where he belongs and is nothing but an ally against the mosquitoes”
