How worth it is it for me to continue a relationship where we have very different political views, and religious beliefs? We have similar morals and I love him deeply as a person aside from everything else. I don’t want to lose him what do I do

I think it really depends on what the differences are but any relationship is going to have an problem at its foundation if your values are just totally not aligned.

Unfortunately the people who match with my politically don’t match with my religious views. But politics are much more important to me, I can tolerate most religions.

I personally couldn’t be with someone with different political views than me, religious can be worked with depending on the severity, but if you guys are willing to make it work then I say go for it.

Our values and morals are aligned it’s more like our preferences or beliefs that are not. I want to find middle ground and compromise but I’m scared he won’t

I could imagine different religious views with similar morals, but I feel like very different political views would almost always have very different morals
