As this would impact both relationships with my friend and her. When I mentioned the idea of staying in contact with her and maybe having some feeling for her he was fine with it and even gave me his “blessing”. I just don’t know what I would say to her or even if it’s the right time. In my head I’m wondering if I should say it soon or take my chances and wait some time.

Also forgot to mention that they were together for a year and broke up in May. He already has a new girlfriend too.
