that's a little sketchy but (personally) moving is super stressful and I might not be ready to share a space that's not really ideal to live in if nothing's set up yet, there are boxes everywhere, etc.

You should be upfront and ask why the switch up. You’re entitled to a reason especially after he said you’d spend the first night together. communicate and be transparent about your feelings about the situation and see his response

I helped him build a lot of the things he bought and helped paint the rooms and that has pretty much been the only times he has seen me recently
