When did this breakup happen, recently? I think you shouldn’t plan to try or not try to reconnect when you go there, you should just see when you get there. If you or her find someone else in the mean time or for some other reason it wouldn’t work you don’t want a possible plan for the future that might not work to get in the way of your life now. If you plan to try to reconnect when you get there and by then she dates someone else, how would that make you feel?
