Keep the apology straight forward, short, and focused on the thing you did (not the impact that it may have had or their part in it)

Just be honest and straight forward. Tell them what you did/what you’re sorry for, tell them how youre going to make up for what you did, and accept their response whether or not it’s the one you hoped for
