The school he goes to know makes it much harder for visiting with distance and also how demanded he is in his career field but I know he cares so much. What do i do?

Your feelings matter too, and if this isn’t the type of relationship that you want to have, then it’s fair to end things. You don’t have to stay with him and be unhappy.
