I had been trying to break up with my ex for a month and finally did it last week. Having been over the relationship for so long and staying in it I feel ready to explore and go into more situationships and not long commitments. Advice? Thoughts?

I mean if you’re over your ex completely I don’t see anything wrong with dating casually. Just make it clear to whoever you’re seeing that you don’t want long term

That’s fine as long as you make sure the other person knows that. I’d also advise telling them you’re over your ex, bc otherwise they’ll hear the timeline and think you’re using them to get over him Also, it would be polite to keep anyone new kinda quiet, just so your ex doesn’t get a double whammy from being dumped and then replaced. It’s not necessary, but it is nice

I know; that’s why I’m uncertain. But it’s less of a “I wanna relationship” and more of an “I can have the freedom to explore what I want out of this.”

Thank you. That’s good advice! I’ll be sure to communicate that to anyone I might talk to
