He’s not the joking type in this sense and he’s very serious that I have to get a perfect 100 on a history test that I have coming up before he’ll make any “extra effort” (his words).

That’s weird tbh. He should wanna put effort in regardless or else what’s the point? Making it conditional on something that’s damn near impossible is crazy. He’s your partner not your parent.

He came home from work and jumped on video games with a co-worker (co-worker is a guy). Co-worker isn’t dating anyone and as my bf said they made plans and he forgot. And then he said that he’d make it up to me if I got the perfect score. Nothing sus in a cheating way, but it doesn’t feel great that he chose guy time when I told him I made plans for us. Especially when he answered the way he did

That’s fair to be skeptical but that’s what it looks like. Also it’s icky for him to go play with a friend instead of hang with you on Valentine’s Day. Idc if he “forgot”, you should have came first on Valentine’s Day
