Of course it’s valid to meet in person because anyone can be anyone on the internet. There are creeps on there. But I wouldn’t give personal information right off the bat. I’d meet somewhere public and get a feel for them first. Uhh did you give them personal info???

sorta- we’ve known eachother for over a year but started flirting few months ago, my issue is he’s 9yrs older than me…. so literally everything said or not said has had me on edge

For me personally, I would find it odd for someone 9 years older to go after someone pretty young. I mean idk how old you are but I would definitely take precautions and be wary of the guy. Not that I know either of you but from what I’m hearing this situation doesn’t seem like you should keep pursuing a relationship with this guy. You can make your own decisions, just please be careful and don’t trust the guy yet
