Have you considered trying to talk abt it before resorting to a breakup? Like express that you’re not happy/your needs aren’t being met, maybe they’d be willing to chance, but if they don’t see the issue w it they might be under the impression everything is fine.

Ive tried, the conversations have become increasingly emotional in the past month where I say all of the above and we just kind of end up nowhere with it. I think she’s making an attempt but then she says she wants to go on dates again and I wish I had the willpower to do that stuff and try to court her again but my rationale is that there’s no guarantee I do that and we both become fulfilled overnight.

they know everything is not fine but the conversation always steers away from my needs and becomes an endless cycle of calling each other out and doing it again the next week.

look I went to breakup and after a looooong conversation we said we’d give each other another shot since we got everything out of our chest. Time will tell but honestly whatever you do try to keep an open mind u never know their perspective until you give yours.
