Has anyone ever successfully gotten back together with an ex?? Things ended abruptly out of nowhere, we’re no contact rn. Just doesn’t feel like our story is supposed to end

lol had the exact same experience and I'm trying to get back together with her. so far it's been mostly emotional despair without much to show for it

NOOOO!!! I have known plenty of people to go back to their ex and I have as well, twice (diff exes). Not a single one that I know of worked. There’s a reason it didn’t work the first time and that reason doesn’t just disappear with space. It’s forgotten until it’s reappears. You’d much rather give 20 guys chances than the same guy 20 chances. Don’t even start with the second.
