He talks a lot and will dominate conversations, talking for hours nonstop. As we dated I learned how to insert my voice so that we had functional conversations. Now he’s saying that I interrupt him too often and he feels like he isn’t heard. i cant win.

You can win by giving yourself peace. This may mean no longer being in a relationship with him. Other options are getting up and leaving the room when he won’t respect your wishes. Your actions may alert him that something is wrong and to change his ways.

a guy who literally won't let you talk is not someone you should go out of YOUR way to try to comfort. my relationship advice is that not all relationships are worth continuing

I’m more frustrated that he’s perceived my attempt at making conversation more equal as an offense, but we’re also incredibly communicative about issues and I plan to bring this one up soon. I was honestly coming here to see if anyone had similar experiences or may have breached this same kind of conversation. I was not coming here to break up with him. Thank you for your input though
