If a colleague of the opposite gender keeps offering to hangout with you outside of work hours, to watch a movie/tv show… would you think they’re interested in you?

Update: I asked her if she’d want to come over to my apartment to watch a movie on Wednesday. I’ll let you know what she says!

I just don’t want to be reading into it if she’s not interested because we are coworkers but I also have a hugeee crush on her

Well okay, here’s the thing both me and her work in the same lab. Recently we’ve been watching S2 of DandaDan on the weekends in a conference room at work cause I was too scared to invite her over to my place. However I sent her a tiktok that was like a “date idea” of watching pirates of the Caribbean with fancy snacks (it didn’t say date idea) and she said that maybe we should do that for Halloween cause it look like it’d be fun! So I’m planning on trying to do something for that

I gave her the option of watching it at my place or in a conference room at work. She chose the conference room since we are going to watch as soon as we are finished in lab. But I feel embarrassed to talk to her. I’m over analyzing too much. We went out for drinks with another person from our lab last Saturday and the conversations turned questionable (discussing past ex’s/boners/spicy picture sending) and I think it’s just like making me feel like I crossed a boundary. I’m just very antsy

She was present and she talked about her experiences, but it was mainly questions asked between my male coworker and I (directed at each other)

We watched the movie together. I’m just nervous to bring it up because she’s a coworker in my lab. If she’s not interested I don’t want her to feel uncomfortable. That’s kinda why I’m not trying to make moves unless she gives a clear sign that she’s interested. But I also don’t know if I’d recognize if she was interested if she did send a signal unless she straight up asked me on a date.
