
Talk to your bf about it and let him know that it’s something you notice about yourself and want to work on. Ask him to help you and remind you that if you are being stubborn that you want to get better at compromise. Added bonus is that guys generally like feeling like they’re being helpful and needed. Don’t be afraid to ask him for help in this period.
Make a list privately of what you could compromise on. It’s okay to have some things you could never be happy changing, but you need to be aware of those limits. Also take the time to think about WHY those limits are in place, and if there’s a root cause you could change if necessary
