I’m (transF mid 20s) falling for someone much older than me (M mid 30s). He’s so sweet and I kno he’s in love with me but I’m just hesitant

If your intuition is saying something is off about him, trust it. If you’re feeling nervous about dating in general, take it slow and don’t force yourself to rush.

Why are you hesitant?

A few reasons, mostly that I’m inexperienced, I struggled to be comfortable with my identity but he accepts me for who I am.

I don’t think anything’s off with him it’s just that I dunno if other ppl around me will be ok with the 10 yr age gap. My family was super judgmental of one of my cousins for being in a relationship with a similar age gap

That’s totally understandable. He sounds like he’s a cool guy, and I’m really glad he already likes and accepts you for who you are! That’s a green flag On the experience side, I get it. We all start with zero dating experience and we have to kind of figure it out as we go (which is scary!) For me, dating for the first time was fun, terrifying, exciting, and a little chaotic. But even though we broke up and I got hurt, it was worth it! Talking to my friends helped me a lot

They’re gonna think what they think, but it’s not their life and it’s not their decision to make. If you want to date this guy and see where it goes then I would still go for it
