Hitler wrote a book calling for a racially based ethnostate and an interpretation of the world as a racial struggle for supremacy and called for the clearing of the east to expand the German land. and JD Vance erroneously didn’t condemn some idiots chat. Get a grip

You mean he didn’t condemn people who had been working in republican admins, who were affiliated with the republicans, who had made comments about gassing people to death in chambers or calling black people slurs No by all means keep dismissing it and proving my point

I think what he did was wrong, I’m not a Republican, I don’t like JD, but to compare that stupid action to signing the order to initiate the final solution or expelling all Jews from universities, government and most employment and then the country is unfathomably offensive and shallow

to compare refusing to condemn pro hitler comments to hitler is dumb?

No he said they shouldn’t have their lives ruined, which is a very grey area. Hitler quite famously empowered and let the edgiest man probably to ever live found his own private cult and army. The distance is immense

But he smoked crack and engaged in high level corruption among other things, shouldn’t he face consequences?

Yes, why are you trying to strawman my position? The Vice president refused to condemn the behavior and pretended that the ask was to ruin those men’s lives. Do you agree with adults facing consequences?

Not trying to strawman trying to test your consistency. But do adults need to face consequence? Only in appropriate moderation.

Great, do you agree that Vance should have condemned their behavior and not dismissed it by trying to imply their whole lives would be ruined by him condemning that behavior?

I think he should have called them idiots who don’t know when to stop joking and moved on with stuff that has real world impact not a group chat. If you call that condemning it then I guess we agree, but no on the same token their lives shouldn’t be ruined

I just gave my answer, JD Vance isn’t the UN, he can express disappointment, disapproval or even annoyance like a normal human

I didn’t ask if he was capable of expressing emotions, answer what I asked
