Well that ain’t even it. Of what I know, the democrats want to get 500 billion dollars for illegals to get free healthcare? I get compassion and everything, but that’s dumb. It ain’t happening. Citizens don’t even get that.

that’s objectively false information. illegal immigrants are unable to apply for medicaid or medicare so they are not receiving any of the healthcare being pushed for. the only thing they are eligible for is emergency care, but even then this has no change on that amount that will be paid. hospitals have to treat no matter what.

maga politicians want massive tax breaks for their donors and billionaire buddies. that’s what this whole shutdown boils down to. they like to lie about the reasoning but at the end of the day we have to look at where the money is actually being allocated

The BBB results in premiums raising in 2026. The dems are basically saying they don’t want that 75% increase because it’ll harm their constituents. Which if you strip down means we want to allocate money to people’s healthcare. Which is where the claim comes from.

currently money is set aside for the ACA and Medicaid for low income families who can’t afford basic health insurance. not one illegal can sign up for those benefits. the right wants to take that healthcare away and give tax breaks to the 1%
