We have to do that. There is one time every week where they look at the requests so by then we just have to make sure the request is in. However, we can request them months in advance so it’s not a big deal.

We have it in our contract (bc we also have the whole half the staff there thing) but I haven’t had a coordinator enforce it. I still say something if I’m like away away but if I’m able to get back in the event of a legit emergency then it’s not their business imo

At my school we get 8 nights off a month and we’re supposed to give 24 hours notice if we’re taking it. Basically the only reason they’d say no is if more than half of the staff will be gone that night. Also can’t be gone every weekend

Yeah. Supposed to be at half staff minimum at all times. 14 nights off a semester but I lowkey be at my house 30 min away some weekends.
