Set clear boundaries, it helps to have a sign outside your room saying whether you’re in or out of your room.

Just be yourself and do your best! Ask any questions you have even if it seems like everyone else knows the answer. Also if you deal with rough incidents (not common at my school but can happen) you can request to take time away from reslife stuff. Usually for my school it’s like not doing office hours for the next few days or something to give yourself time to cope with whatever happened

Be prepared to have a lot of information thrown at you and try not to over think the job. Try and find ways to cope with emotions cause some stuff you deal with may or may not have a toll. But overall just be yourself. You got this! 😊
