So far I feel it’s been easier than last year but too soon to call

Yeah it’s been rough. My building has been fine so far but that’s the exception. One of our buildings has 2 alcohol incidents in the first week and our upperclassmen housing has had more incidents thus far than they did all of last year.

At least at my school, class of 2028 has been by far the rudest group of students I’ve encountered as a whole. Both of the years I’ve been an RA

Literally this, but it's because I was assigned to the dorms known for partying and bad behavior. I've written nearly 10 reports and it hadn't been a month of school yet. Thankfully I addressed the bad behavior instantly, so hopefully there won't be much issues going forward

that’s good to hear. in hindsight with this post it is still very early in the year, and freshmen are unpredictable since they’re experiencing their first taste of adult freedom. i’m hopeful that our batch will mature and level out 🙏
