maybe try to come up with some ground rules (there must be a certain amount of notice before u expect the other person to leave, maybe a signal on the door so they know if ur in there with a guy, can a guy sleep over or not if ur both there, etc) that apply to both of u.

don’t ask for permission, but give notice. ‘i’ll be bringing a guy over in a few days, would you mind giving some privacy’ and maybe offer to pay for lunch or smn
