My suite mate keeps venting too me how she doesn’t have money to go here…idk what I’m supposed to do about that I feel bad..

As harsh as it is she knew how much it was to go there and how much she had…why did she pick to go to that school if she couldn’t afford it? There’s nothing wrong with taking a gap year to save up or going to a less expensive school, so why put yourself in that situation?

That’s what I told her like it’s totally acceptable to take a year and she told me that she doesn’t want to buy books here if she’s not sure she’s staying and it’s just like she keeps coming for me to help which is fine but the way she wants help I can’t help her, I can’t pay for her stuff, I can’t show her her classes at 11 at night which is the only time she’s available I truly just feel bad for her

If she asking for help that you can’t give her, then you need to tell her straight up you can’t help. I get she’s probably stressed but she’s the one that put herself in that situation and she’s the only one that can decide if she can and wants to stay or not.
