i’m having a (definitely one-sided) issue with my roommate over a very small thing. can i have some advice on how to bring it up to her without seeming like a crazy bitch?

Was talking to my therapist the other day about a similar communication issue and she straight up told me to “be a little gen z” about it. If it’s a little thing, you can just be like “listen I’m being a crazy bitch and I know that but this is driving me NUTS, can we talk abt it?”

i go through the same thing w mine CONSTANTLY and she’ll either laugh it off or apologize and do the same thing again. it’s so frustrating

Her point was that sometimes we wait to communicate because we can’t find the “perfect” words and sometimes you just have to communicate as best we can. I would say as long as you’re kind and respectful it’ll probably be fine however you bring it up. Good luck!! 🫶🏻
