Is it entitled to want my roommate to leave??? SHE NEVER leaves not even to eat because she orders daily, and she only has 1 in person class a day which happens to be the same time as my classes.Plus she’s asleep a lot so I’m always having to tiptoe :/

I had this same issue my freshman year. She was also super dirty and left food out and we eventually got bugs. I went straight to the head of housing and asked for a transfer and was luckily granted one

Maybe have a talk with her about how your feeling, or if your on friendly ish terms try and invite her out to get food or something, maybe she’ll find other things to do or meet other people I feel for you tho, that’s a tough situation

I think she genuinely doesn’t give af I’ve tried being loud by like opening doors and scooting things around (mildly) and she will sleep through it. I don’t wanna ask her to leave cause she’s paying for the room to but like damn bitch

Can you stfu this is called roommate rants for a reason. I’m allowed to feel the way I feel because I’m paying for the room to ,and yes she’s paying for the room to which is why I haven’t brought this up to her I’ve only mention my feelings on this group DEDICATED to ranting

My roomate never really cleans either besides sweeping and I’m not even a clean freak but I’d like to see her actually wipe something down for once because her hair is everywhere in the bathroom

Fortunately my roommates not bad enough to the point we have attracted bugs so my situation isn’t as urgent but I would like to change roommates during spring

U could always lie/ exaggerate circumstances to get out of that situation if it becomes too much for you

Yeah true guess ig I’ll wait till we get a bit deeper in the semester like mid terms because my hs gpa was SHIT, and I don’t want her habits to reflect onto me. I’m easily influenced by behaviors (obviously that’s a me issue) but I’m aware I have this issue ,and I’d rather solve it myself by leaving instead of making her feel uncomfortable cause obviously Im not entitled to tell her to like stop sleeping so much or being a chud when she’s paying to sleep in that bed and stuff yk🤷🏽‍♀️

I invited her to 3 things and she’s never enjoyed any of them … went out to eat she didn’t like the food , went to party she hated it and so I had to leave early and one other thing which she didn’t like at First but ended up enjoying towards the END bruh. I would like to talk to her but I feel like it’s a selfish thing for me to mention.thank you for the advice ❤️

Yeah that sounds annoying af, if it’s getting too much try talking to an RA/housing about moving rooms
