Is it really not common sense to lock the door when you leave if there is nobody else home?!?

THISSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!! I DON’T CARE IF YOU STILL NEED A KEY TO GET IN THE MAIN DOOR, WE ARE RIGHT NEXT TO THE MAIN DOOR, IT TAKES JUST 1 MF TO SLIP IN AND THEY GONNA CHECK IF OUR DOOR IS LOCKED OR NOT FIRST!!!!! God I’m so happy that I’m not going back to those fuckers in the fall😭😭😭🙌🙌🙌

I grew up in an area that didn’t need to lock doors- it was something I had to learn. Not tryna defend your roommate they need to learn faster 🤷

I don’t think I’ve ever locked any of my doors, not saying it’s right but I don’t think it’s the end of the world

My bf does not lock the door the house when he leaves even when he traveling 45 mins away. I keep telling him, you need to lock it or one day someone going to be waiting for you. His response: I’m going to give them the special. The special: 👊👊

everyone should be locking their doors. don’t matter where you live. i would remind the roommate and if it keeps being an issue, i’d take it to an ra. may be a tad dramatic but safety comes first.

The door was always locked. I aint playing. Unless I’m right next to the door and it’s nice out. It stays locked.

Had to scold my roommate for this bc in the 10 minutes they were out doing laundry I entered our apt, locked the door behind me, locking them out. Thank fuck it was me and not someone else.

Yea that’s what I think too, when I leave I make sure to lock the door whether I’m there or not but I’m constantly coming home when they are gone and it’s unlocked like what the fuck

Yeah I always double checked and made sure the front door was locked before going to bed, my dumbass roommates would sometimes not lock it so I always made sure it was before we all went to bed for exactly this reason🫣😭
