I’ve seen a ton of videos online of people restoring ones they find at Goodwill so that may be salvageable. If not they owe you a new skillet.

Noo wtf. Some people are just stupid my old roommate put a plastic plate in the oven and I had to stop it and explain to him why you can’t put plastic in the oven.

Lemon juice and baking soda works! You can literally just take half a lemon and scrub with it after adding baking soda

Nah I already threw it away, like I said I have another cast iron skillet, and the one he put in the dishwasher was the smaller of my two anyways

I almost never used the small one, just because the bigger one was always right there and since it’s been used more it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy because it’s better seasoned
