Bring back bullying because people have no shame, like get a room. If y’all can’t afford a decent hotel (most around a $100), then go to a motel or AirBnB. If y’all can’t afford that, then get in the car and find a very secluded place, but atv that point instead of worrying about sex, you should be trying to get your money up.
Let me correct something’s an opinion isn’t always gonna be liked I was speaking mine my apologies if it had any negative effects on anyone. None of this is meant to discourage the OP from telling the authorities or anyone else in the proper channels. I’m not excusing the actions that took place I’m simply saying in the heat of the moment it could’ve been a thing that happened, we’re not perfect as humans these things happen it probably wasn’t on purpose if it was then it’s definitely a problem.
This is sexual harassment because she didn’t consent to being there while they were sexual with each other. It’s a shared space, and there was no communication. Now the OP is forced to be there (because it’s their room) which violates their personal boundaries and privacy! You can’t just fuck wherever lol
I get you but like tbf it had nothing to do with her if she wasn’t directly on the bed while they fucked again yes it is fucked but like get ya lick back or say how u feel after and talk it im not saying deal with it but like at least let her know how she felt about it it happens again by all means snitch
it's along the lines of indecent exposure imo, like if you're in a public space and a man pulls his dick out at you then that's an arrestable offense. their room is a share space and having sex next to someone who isn't consenting is incredibly violating. like I'm guessing your a man based on your responses, so if you've never had someone force a sexual action onto you or been genuinely threatened then you're just not going to get it but do not downplay other people's feelings please
First of all ive said numerous times it’s fucked up i do get it let’s not start with the I hate men shit respectfully i understand but like talking it out before snitching is an option not a forced one if she wants to snitch by all means do what u must me personally im doing one of my three things which is getting my lick back , talking about how it made me feel and tell her it shouldn’t happen again and if it does im snitching
I didn't bring up hating men at all? I was just saying it's an experience most men aren't going to understand. and like I'm genuinely happy that the majority of the male population don't have to worry about being sexually harassed on the daily but that the average women isn't going to have the patience to "not snitch". also if someone does an obviously shitty thing to you, you don't owe it to them to talk it out!
Hence why i said talking to them is an option not forced advice not tryna be funny you know what options are right i fully understand and agree with you but on the same token men dont report shit to keep image we get clowned if we reported we got harassed and full congratulations to OP for even posting this that shows her strength so let’s stop with the we don’t understand we do we go through this we just don’t speak on it out of being macho but yes hun it very much happens to men
I replied to your original comment, read through what’s happened since then and I see what you’re saying. I think there is a bit of a disconnect because OP is at a point where she does not need to communicate her feelings on something that is known to be fucked up, and counts as sexual harassment. In this case she is a victim and her going straight to authorities would not be “snitching”
On that note, the topic of hating men was not brought up, all that person was trying to say is they feel like it may be different for you being someone who, we’re assuming, hasn’t experienced this specific situation! You’re right that men are afraid to speak up, or some don’t realize they’re victims. Unfortunately this is a system set up by men trying to make them feel less like men for being taken advantage of. Pt.1
I’m unsure how tapped in you are with feminism, but as a man you can be a feminist in order to support the end of this system. I know it gets a bad reputation, but at the end of the day most feminists (not the over the top online bs being pushed) are in support of men and women no longer being dragged by this system. A big part of it is men and women both can be dominated by other men or women who live life with a patriarchal view. This is a bit off but it relates to your previous comments!
Apparently there’s some misconception that im saying snitching as if it was in a negative connotation. I say that word cause it’s what I grew up and, I’ve agreed that she doesn’t automatically need to talk to her roommate about her feelings it was an OPTION IM NOT SAYING SHE HAS TO AGAIN COMPLETELY AN OPTION.
Just cause I’m a man don’t mean I don’t find the situation just as fucked up it’s gross it shouldn’t have happened ive said this multiple times so for me it’s like well oh guys don’t know shit and they don’t deal with this when we definitely I’ve had that happen actually and I talked with my roommate worked out fine for me we have a boundaries lesson and move on im not saying what I do is everyone’s have to do
yes we talked after our classes that day, her boyfriend left by that time so it was perfect! she’s more embarrassed if anything and was hoping i was asleep, which is good but there’s a lingering thought in my mind… anyways! we decided and agreed to not be embarrassed and way more open about things
I’m not attacking you, but I can understand why you may feel frustrated since that’s the energy others have shared. It’s unfortunate to hear you experienced something like this, and although you worked it out you would have been very valid to feel uncomfortable! As for the snitching, I also grew up with that word but my experience with it is it’s seen at “ratting out” which has negative connotation. My comments are not trying to tell you you’re wrong for your own experiences and thoughts!
Also, I did make sure to mention that commenter made the assumption you haven’t experienced it. It’s an assumption because we don’t know shit about ur experiences. It’s not a “guys don’t know shit”, that commenter was saying men and women may process these experiences differently, in this case they’re correct but it might not have to do with you being a man and OP being a women. Please don’t assume all women hate men, as a women I’m trying to have a very open and educational convo w you :)
