So roommate insists we can’t be friends anymore but swore I didn’t do anything even though if I didn’t confront her she would have just ghosted me. Now I feel uncomfortable in my own apartment. I can switch apartments but it will cost more

There aren’t enough characters to explain the whole thing so if more is needed 👍

I went through something similar and I’d say moving out is wayyy better! I thought I could stay to avoid the switching fee but it was so mentally draining being in such an awkward environment. I rather pay for comfort than be distressed in my own space.

This really depends on your financial situation I fear…would you have to work more if you got the other apartment? Could you keep up w/ schoolwork if you had to work more? Would you even be alright working more? Those kinda things

I already have two jobs plus scholarships and grants to help me so I would just be spending more instead of saving and I wouldn’t be able to ask off as much if schoolwork needed my attention. The only things that are making the decision hard for me are the less flexibility in how many hours I’d have to work, our other roommate who really thinks we can work through things, and just the inconvenience of having to move and change my address
