idgaf as long as they aren't food covered dishes that stink. definitely make sure ur rinsing them off at least and moving them out of the way. and if ur sink only has one side, then yes u should def be doing them right away. but if ur roommate is expressing they don't like it, then u rly should respect them and do ur dishes right away. it's not that hard and it's not respectful to continue to do something that u know ur roommate is annoyed by

i always rinse out the food obvi. and there is two sides to the sink. i literally have a couple things in there and woke up to hear her complaining to our other roommate about it. but i understand and we are close so i don’t want to annoy them i just dont think its that bad to leave them for that long, but idk if im delusional or she is just overly clean

it might not be bad to you, but you don't live alone so more than just how you feel matters here. it's a shared space and should be treated with respect for all people living there's feelings
