What to do if your dorm roommate doesn’t like your boyfriend over or any guys and I keep doing it anyways 😞 I pay for my dorm and I feel like I should be able to bring him over if we aren’t disrespectful to her and her space, do I just ignore it?

I definitely second this first response. you both have a right to the space and to do as you wish , and you have to accommodate each other as well, i say just try to talk to her, and find middle ground

It’s the way u go about it but I fear she also is paying for the dorm so you have to be accommodating as well image walking around and there’s guys around that you don’t know and you can feel like you aren’t disrespecting towards other but it can be completely different for another person best bet is to communicate yall have RA for a reason use em for effective communications!

Yall need to have a conversation and maybe set time and days your bf can come cause if he’s over there all the time to the point he feel like a third roommate then enough is enough

He goes to a college far away and so he’s only over one maybe two nights on the weekend. We have three roommates and my 2nd doesn’t mind and likes to have people over too so it feels like we’re trapped :/

No I completely understand, we had a designated time to discuss roommate agreements and she didn’t show up. It’s at the point where we are restricted and she can do whatever so I think I’m just reacting in a petty manner 😞

My second roommate and I set up a time to do roommate agreements, she didn’t end up showing up and my other roommate also feels stuck with this. I think what bothered me the most was after he left she goes “I thought we talked about this” but we didn’t really- it was her telling me no people over, not an agreement 😞🫩

yeahhh a petty decision a lot of us would say is snitch to an RA immediately but let that be your last choice! i myself am also experiencing a roommate who is dominant (and we haven’t even moved in yet) so i understand standing up for you two isn’t really ideal bc why would you wana fight but yeah just bring it up as a conversation to her it could be while you’re all chilling in bed!

Okay now I’m like huh how u going to impose rules when you weren’t even present for the roommate agreement now I see your side

Also try to get the conversation into a text so when u do decide to bring it to the RA you have some proof that you did reach out to her but she isn’t doing the same thing
