Roommate likes heater at 62, I like it 65-70. Turned it to 65 and it ‘ran too much last night’. Love them but I already got sick once when the house was at 50 without heater. We’re both broke but I honestly don’t mind spending a bit more on warmth

Look up legal residence temperatures in your state. Places have a range of temperatures that residences legally have to stay within. Mines like 66-72 F. If you’re getting sick then also bring that up (from someone who woke up to a <55 degree apartment multiple times last winter)
