My roommate and I used to be friends but now she gives me rude looks, ignores my texts, and doesnt respond when I talk to her. I’m supposed to live with her this fall too. What should I do? She also snapped when I talked to her

Been there, just leave the situation. If she can’t communicate what the problem is then don’t live with her. Look into other options before its too late

Why do roomates do this. like jfc. Having a similar issue atm, and i think this is because of built-up resentment. Feelings of resentment arise because of unresolved conflict. In my current situation, my roomate cannot clearly communicate which causes her to resent me even when i try to fix issues with her cooperatively. Try to speak with her and if that doesnt work, leave.

Lmao it’s too late and nothing can be changed. Honestly the best thing I can do is to not be upset and take things personally because it’s my roommate’s problem, not mine. I have not been mean to them or done anything wrong
