ik this is a small rant and that it could be a lot worse. but i love natural light, and im tired of her closing the blinds whenever she notices that ive opened them. if u want it dark in ur own room, fine. but that doesnt mean the whole apt has to be dark all the time too especially w seasonal depression right around the corner. ive even shut them like half way to compromise w her liking the dark, but ig she doesnt like it that way either!

My roommate did this last year and the hard part was that the building was already facing away from any sun 🥲 kept the blinds closed the entire time and opened the window when it was wintertime

my roommate doesn’t let me have ANY light on saying it “hurts her eyes” even when i’m reading or doing homework she gets pissy about it. i have to either leave or sit in the bathroom to read. it’s awful so i feel you
