When I agreed to let my roommate bring their ESA, does that also mean I agreed to changing everything about my side of the room?? I genuinely feel so insane. It’s my roommate’s ESA so it’s their responsibility right??

They are asking to replace my furniture and wants me to rearrange my side so their ESA doesn’t go into my stuff anymore. It’s a nice offer to replace my stuff but why should I have to just because you aren’t watching your ESA?! And once I said that they flipped everything on me saying I’m the issue because I don’t want to change my side at all.. am I crazy? Pls I feel so hopeless rn

Yeah I mean I understand if it’s more if a blanket or something might get ruined, or medication/food. But furniture? Hell nah

The most I’m doing for someone’s ESA is moving food/anything poisonous to them to a higher location because shit happens and animals are animals. Rearranging my entire side because you won’t train your pet to not tear stuff up? Absolutely not you can fix that.
