it's been a year and a half and our lease is finally up. FREEDOM (to be myself in an empty apt and use my kitchen, or patio, or exercise equipment, or ENTER AND LEAVE w/o a person standing one foot away at all times) i'm so fucking ready to live on my own and not worried about being perceived 24/7 i’m sick of it
I felt this way too, my roommate played a sport, but it was like middle of the day. She would just be in the dorm doing nothing. Her sport was only for one semester too, and she legit just never did anything else. I would come back after hours at class and she would just be sitting there complaining about her schoolwork and then do her nails for five hours. Like either don’t complain or do your work?? And don’t complain when I occupy MY living space???
Exactly!! This girl has so much free time that she goes through our pantry and critiques me on the ingredients of the foods I buy for MYSELF, all the while I’m at work or school minding my own business and then I come home to whatever drama she’s been stewing on by herself all day 💀
Dude, my roommate wouldn’t even want to walk downstairs to submit her own maintenance request for stuff that bothered her and she would ask me to do it. Literally as I was leaving for spring break and she was telling me that she wanted me out by 8 AM. She was also asking me to fill out a maintenance request for her cause she didn’t want to. She’s also allowed some of her food to rot and ruin my food. Our roommates should live together.
