They definitely could, the app has a function where you can have different people in different 'circles' or smth. I would just ask them to maybe have a different circle for their other friends because you don't want random people knowing your location

My friend did this too. The instant I got that notification saying someone was added, i disabled my location, called my friend, and straightforward told her to please take them off of the life360 immediately. Nip this in the bud, don’t go along with something that makes you uncomfortable
