If she’s inviting her club over without even giving you a head’s up I’d find the contact info for the club president (or someone else leadership if she’s the president) and let them know that you never gave her permission to be the weekly meet up location and that you have work on Thursdays and Fridays (I’m assuming that’s what you meant when you told her that).
Yeah if there’s that many people in the group there’s definitely somewhere else they can go. Whatever leadership exists was probably told you were onboard with this so definitely tell them you never agreed to this and they’ll find somewhere else to meet. I’m surprised this club isn’t meeting in a classroom or something like that.
If this was a few friends I would get it but 20+ people weekly with no communication prior is insane. This seems to be a school club so they can meet at the school instead of a person’s apartment. Also with that many people I don’t get why the meeting place can’t rotate to some of the other members places, there’s no way only the roommate has the ability to host.
If you don’t see how coming home to a crowd of random people with no head’s up then being told this will happen weekly with absolutely no say in the situation then you are the one that needs a one bedroom. OP just told you why moving isn’t an option and the club has other options for meeting places.
But my question is other then the fact they are just there what are they doing are they loud are they touching op stuff I have a roommate and she bring people over all the time the amount doesn’t matter as long as they aren’t bothering me or touching my stuff just because I got off work and don’t want anyone there is not a real issue lol
And again if you can’t afford to live alone some things are gonna have be accepted cause if you complain about this she’s probably gonna complain about every single little thing you do and it’s gonna end up hostile cause like I said if they aren’t really bothering you and the only thing is you don’t want them there don’t make waves
There you go again minimizing the situation. OP is not “playing mommy” for wanting basic ass communication and not have to worry about 20-30 people potentially wrecking the apartment that they’ll have to clean because their roommate thinks she has a cleaning fairy. Just say you’re a bad roommate and drop it.
I’m not a bad roommate op didn’t say anything about the cleaning till later like I said she need to room with someone more her speed or to be by herself. I get the cleaning part I’m not saying she should have to clean after them but her initial complaint was she just didnt want them there and that’s why i say she needs to live alone or switch apts cause why is someone who is also paying bills have to ask about having company this is not a dorm
