lmao when i moved into my old house one of my roommates said “y’all can eat whatever you want” and i didn’t even eat any of her food until it had been sitting for a while untouched. second semester comes around and she leaves a passive aggressive note in the pantry about not eating food that isn’t yours. like ur a dumb ass bitch bro you could’ve just asked me nicely if you changed your mind ab sharing

My roommate was just dirty. I feel like it’s common sense to keep a shared space clean. She would leave old food, trash, dishes out long enough for it to go bad. It was to the point we had gnats, flies and the room stunk. I didn’t blow up on her but I definitely went through the proper channels and scheduled a meeting to talk about it with our RA. I documented the mess until eventually I switched rooms.

When we first all moved in I had made it clear that I am a somewhat tone deaf and have a hard time picking up social ques so if I every do anything that may be uncomfortable to my roommates to not be afraid to let me know directly

that's completely on them. some people are horrible at communicating and can't set boundaries. maybe try asking more questions before doing xyz. ppl like that tend to never learn and will keep finding reasons to be mad.
